I’ve always believed that real everyday moments are incredibly beautiful. Moments that deserve a frame among the beautifully manicured family portraits and lifestyle sessions. When the Edwards family contacted me a few months ago with the bold idea of capturing their family on one of their many camping trips, I was elated. A true documentary session. Nothing posed or directed, just me documenting this family for a few hours while they hiked, fished, and spent quality time together. This session was a dream. The type of session that shows how authentic and unscripted moments are album worthy.

The quality time this family spent together without any distractions was inspiring. No phones, just enjoying each other’s presence on one of their typical family camping trips exploring and enjoying the natural world around them.
